Too much politics, difficult to get things done

Vice President (Former Employee) London, England

ProsIn general, there are high calibre professionals working in all teams, and the work produces tends to be of high quality.

ConsPolitics mainly. The organization is very top-heavy, with many subdivisions. Teams are expected to deliver but without controlling all the resources on a project as some belong to other teams.

    Lovely, an overall favourable experience

Operations Analyst (Current Employee) Chester, England

ProsIts been a really great start for my career, and a good name to begin with on my CV.

ConsYou don't get recognised for your work, and theres so much red tape and reporting in a day, it gets so tedious.

Advice to Senior ManagementLess of them, there are so many unecessary managers there, adding to the politics and the bureaucracy at work.

    Lots of layoffs

Vice President (Former Employee) London, England

ProsDue to the widespread problems, you won't be bored there.

ConsBudgets slashed. Projects canned. Management treat running the company as though it was simply a game to be played. Although this is supposedly a global company, there is discrimination against people in India as the bands are lower for doing the same job. Everything's really run out of Charlotte, so if you're in the rest of the world forget about getting above a band 3. The bank failed to invest in it's infrastructure and systems during the good times. It is probably too late to turn things around now. I'd recommend only if you like fiddling whilst Rome burns.

    Advice to Senior ManagementJust leave
