I have been working at Burger King full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

As a starter job you can learn a lot like multitasking, leadership, and etc.

    Cons

Customer is always right, even when they are the ones at fault and managers aren't able to help you because the corporation just wants their satisfaction.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Employees need better training, don't expect your employees that have been working there for a long time to help them out. Help your employees when it gets busy because sitting in the office won't help the business run smooth.

I have been working at Burger King full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Free manager meals, room for advancement

    Cons

They promoted anyone here, most managers that were in training were the ones with the most write ups, call outs, tardiness, and no calls no shows. They kept employees here that did not do their jobs. The general manager never had someones back, he was out for his own gain. The employees were all rude and sexual and no action was taken forward. The environment was completely unprofessional and draining. Upper management took advantage of other managers by making them work ridiculous hours an open/close. It was a breath of fresh air being able to leave the company, was not worth working 50+ hours a week. Underpaid and underappreciated.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's not all about making yourself more money, you should care about your employees. Give them benefits, give them DIRECT DEPOSIT, pay overtime, give bonuses.

    I worked at Burger King

    Pros

Good experience adapting to changes in upper management's expectations; good chance to hone skills of multitasking and tolerance of nonsense

    Cons

You are expected to know how to do anything and everything, whether you have been trained or not. Nobody in upper management pretends to care about you until you have passed your breaking point.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Check in on your people and help them find happiness or your turnover will remain higher than you claim is acceptable.

I have been working at Burger King part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The other crew members are cool and we support each other in the environment. Every once in a while a customer will have something nice to say to you.

    Cons

Customers are rude. The management is laughable, terrible, anyone can be manager doesn't mean just anyone should. Also a lot of ex cons work there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

All the managers need training on how to manage people without making you feel like an unlikeable toad.

I worked at Burger King full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

You can be the laziest person ever.and Russel doesnt care how many times he fires you he will rehire you. Mukesh doesnt care obviously.

    Cons

Mukesh lets his franchise genesh.inc flop like a flounder as his employees are under paid and his managers arnt respected. His general managers and district managers seem to lack training and or motivation to make there stores succeed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Mukesh evaluate you stores and there employees pay. Some need to go and some deserve a lot more.

    Pros

There are no pros to working here. This job is for high school students trying to earn a little money. Not a person trying to look for a career.

I have been working at Burger King

    Pros

The flexible schedule was the biggest pro. This was the most convenient while still in school. This is also the type of job where there is always something to keep you busy, never a dull moment.

    Cons

No benefits until you make assistant manager. They say you should get a review with the potential for a raise every 6 months, but you are lucky to get a yearly review with minimal raises. not enough attention on training.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work on getting reviews out in a more timely manner. This can be a neutral way to address crew members who may not be meeting standards, and rewarding those meeting expectations. Often crew members are unaware they are not meeting expectations.
