    Pros

    The pay was good and there was some autonomy when it came to leading your individual team.

    Cons

    Management is very disorganized and distant from the staff. Lots of mundane data collection and an over emphasis on reporting made it dificult to focus on core responsibilities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get back to the basics of FM and stop constantly trying to reinvent yourselves. CBRE can be a great company but it's time to invest a little more back into the employees.

    Pros

    Great company to work for. Management is very well versed in their fields and know how to manage people and the business. They make you feel important and do not micro manage you like many other locations. Great flow of work and very flexible schedule. All in all the best company I have ever worked for.

    Company does focus on Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence. Operational performance for clients is extremely good.

    Cons

    No room for growth; use of sub-contractors keeps salary levels low, and allows company to bring-in talent below market value.

    Pros

    CBRE has decent benefits and is a fair employer. Large company with many international and national clients / accounts, so there is great opportunity to move up in Facilities Management and Project Management.

    Cons

    Office culture varies from account to account. Perks also vary and rely mostly on client approval and on individual account’s senior leadership. Rewards / Perks generally do not trickle down the totem pole unless your management team fights for you. Landing on a great account with a client that is satisfied with CBRE Services is the key. …Good Luck

    Take action and don't forget about the little people that make the organization work and maintain the client relationship. Investing and promoting continuous learning would help improve moral, ensure growth and loyalty from your employees.

    Spent nearly seven years with the company and enjoyed my time spent. Meet and work with some really good people.

    Cons

    I will say there is the proverbial politics to be played but you can get by playing the game. I would say they need to focus on the support staffs more and less on executives.

    Focus on support staffs more and cut out the useless middle to lower upper management positions and CBRE will shine more

    Pros

    The people and the compensation. It's a great place to work and constantly drive yourself to be better. Couldn't be happier.

    Cons

    It's a 100% commission job, so the pay is inconsistent and challenging. Leadership can be challenging but given the nature of the business, it's a normal part of the environment.
