    Pros

Event and facility prestige make it relatively easy to secure sales leads. However, closing is still challenging because the product is significantly overpriced and customer service is not a priority to management.

I met a lot of great people.

I learned a lot and was able to sell a product I probably wasn't qualified to (at that point in my career).

    Cons

Pay, it is bare bones and the bonus structure is unbelievably convoluted. The worst part is the top 5% of the company make extremely healthy wages, while an overwhelming majority of people are underpaid and viewed as disposable.

Corporate management does not care about its employees, customers or public perception. The only concern is increasing the stock price and giving themselves raises.

Since there is only one Kentucky Derby and it is a truly unique event, the company has a monopoly. This breeds a poisonous culture that is characterized by ineptitude, politics, underachievement, turnover, apathy, resentment and horrendous morale. The corporate culture is disgusting.

    Advice to Management

It would fall on deaf hears, so I defer.
