    Friendly loyal colleagues who do their best in trying circumstances

    Cons

    An acceptance of bullying amongst middle management leading to a high turnover of staff. Very little career development or training. Poor compensation and little chance of meaningful review. Shockingly overcrowded and noisy work environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Rip out and redesign entire middle management structure in IT. Move to new premises. Build a genuine meritocracy and end the nepotism.

    Staff worked with were fun, good away days. Overtime available, (however due to staff shortage) flexible working hours

    Cons

    Poor management, poor training, face fits then OK. us and them attitude from management. forced to work overtime to deal with workloads due to staff shortages due to high turnover of staff

    Hire proper middle management who have experience for job.

    Pros

    Constant interaction with other countries (US, Belgium, China). Global projects.

    Cons

    There is no career at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Invest some money in the technologies that your teams need to work.

    Employees should be able to anonymously review their managers. This allows managers to get useful feedback and the result of these reviews should be taken into account for the annual review of these managers (e.g.: a manager with bad reviews from his employees should not get a good salary rise).

    Company policies and benefit package are quite disappointing.

    Ability to move around to different roles within the company every few years, which keeps work interesting. Competitive compensation.

    As I've seen with many large companies - need to deal with 'corporate politics' & can be lots of red tape when trying to deliver your project.

    Pros

    While there is a lot of room for growth within the company some people worthy of it do get passed over due to favoritism. Some have worked hard and it is not paying off. If you play the game you will move. Work life balance and the managers working with you in the event of something unexpected happening is amazing.

    Cons

    being passed over for opportunities after working towards goals managers set for you and having others picked who put less work in. The health benefits are not the best either, which is funny since we offer them, I have worked on accounts that have better benefits than i do. It's a huge let down and hit to moral.

    great benefits; lots going on in the office - lot of opportunity and lots of growth available; free coffee/water/tea; food trucks and massage therapists on campus often

    management/leadership in my department is lacking
