I worked at Cisco Systems India full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good cash and noncash compensation, flexible work environment. employees are highly empowered, great deal of open communication at all levels. values teamwork, focussed on customer's success.

    Cons

One of the best MNCs in India by any standard. Unfortunately over last 5 years of growth Cisco has acquired some local talent at middle management level that not necessarily a cultural fit.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cisco needs to pay attention to their lateral hiring at Director and above level and perhaps balance that with internal promotions.
