I worked at Cisco Systems India full-time for more than a year
Pros – Great culture. World leader, good learning opportunities, wonderful peers.
In terms of taking care of the employees, Cisco does a lot more than other employers
Cons – Size of the organization is increasing in India, which means, most of the times, the great culture and learning opportunities are negated by getting stuck in the wrong team, doing worthless work. Internal transfers are not as easy as it is talked of, still better than other employers. Yet, having a manager who looks at his own interests will ensure you dont move around easily.
Advice to Senior Management – Process to be established for people to move around the teams. Perhaps mandatory examinations and creating a pool for talent for movement purpose would be exciting

I have been working at Cisco Systems India full-time for more than a year
Pros – Good work and life balance.
Flexible timings and Work From Home options.
Very caring and cooperative management.
Predictable bonus.
Cons – Not many options for career growth.
Need to negotiate more before joining the company. Once if u r in , career and packages grows very slower.
Need to be proactive to select a competitive work. Management allows u to work on an exciting project if you insist for it.
Most of employees need to follow up actively to get to know any new works are coming.
No profit sharing and no stock options.
Advice to Senior Management – Frequent management changes are not very encouraging.
Share current and future project plans in time.
