    A job, not a career

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Orlando, FL (US)

ProsGood stepping stone to a career with a good company.

ConsWhen customer management complained to me about DRC PM work ethic, I went to PM, then local office director. Was informed I'd been "downsized" within 30 days. Prime then cut PM hours to zero & hired me. DRC expands by buying other companies, not by growing internally.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe world doesn't rotate around Andover. Support staff (expense claims, HR) universally annoyed when asked questions ("When will my expense report be paid?").

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Was a great company.

Manager (Former Employee) Andover, MA (US)

ProsFamily like atmosphere. Is currently going through an acquisition, so hopefully they will be able to keep some of it alive.

ConsSlow to react on some things. I felt that sometimes things moved at a glacial pace. Change will hopefully be good for them.

Advice to Senior Managementno longer applicable.

    Excellent company overall

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Pros-Values relationship-building internally and externally with the client
-Management actively seeks out more project work for the future
    -Great benefits
-Nice work-at-home policy when possible (depends on client)
-Hire exceptional workers with impressive skill sets; no one on the team is a one-trick pony

Cons-Corporate training webinars are a little archaic; could stand to be more interactive to start conversations/discussion
-Employees should have the opportunity to review their managers during performance review time
-People are promoted from within, which is great, however without the proper coaching that is needed and/or required to become an effective, professional manager
-Software tools needed to do our jobs are not always approved for purchase, which does not encourage quality materials or efficient work

Advice to Senior ManagementMore coaching/training is needed for middle management promotions before they actually become managers.

Director (Current Employee) Arlington, VA (US)

ProsNONE, Management is the worst ever.

ConsManagement is horrible. Employees are treated poorly. Performance is not rewarded

Advice to Senior ManagementGet rid of the President, and all the SVPs. Start fresh.
