no more work from home allowed.

Pros – There are some advancement opportunities. The pay is competitive but will likely be on the lower than average range.

Cons – If you're stuck in the wrong position (customer service), you will hate life. If that's you, apply to any/all openings you qualify for and hope that some hiring manager saves you. Otherwise, it'll wreck your psyche.

Advice to Senior Management – Ease up on the csr. The job is hell and you're not exactly paying a premium to attract the best talent.

Cons – Very bad compensation. 20% below market average.

Cons – With the new CEO, the company is in a huge state of flux. Multiple top level executives were given their walking papers and serious reorg is in the works. They are still digging themselves out of a huge sinkhole due to the loan crisis and are expected to cut 100 million dollars in expenses this year.

Cons – limited growth potential for someone with an MBA who is not willing to move

Pros – Etrade will train you to get your Series 7 brokers license. If you are not opposed to moving around there is some ooportunity for advancement. The company is small and earning potential is limited. It is good company to get some experience and go somewhere else to use it.

Cons – No real up earning potential because of company size and corporate structure. Company is top heavy with management and is not taken seriously by serious investors. You always get the feeling the company is about to sold or is on the market for a buyer.

Advice to Senior Management – Make up you mind what you want to be, either an investment firm providing solid investment advice or a cheap gimmicky discount broker.
