I worked at Eastman Kodak full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great people, good salary and benefits. The people work really hard to make things happen despite any red tape. Overall during the years it has been a good company to work for but latterly not so great.

    Cons

Poor long term strategy. Atmosphere was not very good after going in to Chapter 11 in 2012. Not sure how long the company will survive in to 2014 and beyond.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Eastman Kodak full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Good people, high ethics, professionalism, good engineering skills, people help each other more than compete with each other.

    Cons

Struggling in today's markets, a shell of what it once was. The top engineering talent has left to other opportunities, the people left are often the "C"team. Not being negative, just honest.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't give up on this company, don't strip it clean. It has greatness left, it can come back. Find your strengths and run with them, not try and force what you want strengths in.
