    Pros

Great people, good salary and benefits. The people work really hard to make things happen despite any red tape. Overall during the years it has been a good company to work for but latterly not so great.

    Cons

Poor long term strategy. Atmosphere was not very good after going in to Chapter 11 in 2012. Not sure how long the company will survive in to 2014 and beyond.

    Advice to Management

Look to the future and embrace technology

    Pros

Good teams, interesting research projects. Good people to work with (including the managers). Great work/life balance.

    Cons

Difficult to get permanent position. Low-average salary range for contractors. Closed down due to economic recession. Inconsistent policy for awarding scientific contribution.

    Pros

The benefits were good at Kodak including healthcare, paid vacation, ten paid holidays a year, 401K and pension.

    Cons

Employees wasted way too much time on their cell phones. My boss would take up to 23 calls a day, walk out of the office to chat on the phone; then he would hire his WIFE and pay her $150 per HOUR because he could not finish his work. Is that a conflict of interest or what?

    Advice to Management

STOP the unethical behavior at your company and maybe you can survive!

    Pros

Good pay, Good benefits. Many hard working dedicated employees. Good friendships, most all have much in common. 99.9% of the employees were honest and straight forward.

    Cons

The Company has made many poor decisions. Started with _ selling off profitable subsidies in order to gain market share back from Fuji. Digital photography was gaining momentum, quality and popularity at an amazing rate. This made it impossible to keep the company viable enough to remain competitive during the shift in technology.

    Advice to Management

Recover the Billions of dollars in cash that continue flowing into _ pockets. Drop the plastic ink jet printers, I bought them to be loyal to my employee. When I finally switched to Laser, it paid for itself with the 1/2 full toners it is delivered with. Mom told me to never tell a lie.
