“Good job for a student or a "carry-over" job”
Current Employee – been working at 24 Hour Fitness part-time for less than a year
Pros – -The work environment is great.
-The people are welcoming and personable.
-The job is fairly simple: keep the kids safe, and have fun with them
-The job is not high demand in responsibilities
Cons – -The pay is really low. Just think, you're watching dozens of kids throughout the day with a lot of risks and liability potential for $7.50/hour, and at the same time there are teenage girls getting paid more like $10/hour for watching 1 or 2 kids at someone's house.
-The training seemed to be minimal (but luckily it doesn't take much to learn this job)
