I have been working at AT&T full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Great work/life balance
Ability to own your own products/projects
Great for self-starter attitude

Cons

Beaurocratic - small duties/change implementations takes a long time - almost everything needs to get kicked all the way up to VP level for approval
Not much direction from Senior Mgmt - might be frustrating for those who are not self starters
Large company - need to teach yourself to find your way around to get things done

    Many good opportunities across multiple functions.
    Good trainings
    Good reputation as a fortune 500 firm.
    Well defined roles and clear career path.

    Cons

    Sometimes too cost controlled.
    Office politics could be annoying.
    Promotions can be slow in a big organization.
    Needs to be mobile in order to move up.

    Try to build a leaner and flatter structure for a giant company.
