I have been working at Adobe

Pros

Collaborative, supportive co-workers, the opportunity to work on market-leading products, flexibility on time/working from home.

Cons

Constant reorganization churn, way too many middle managers, poor opportunities for advancement, overwhelming workload. Focus is on management the company for the street, as a result, the focus on product innovation and quality is suffering.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop rewarding the ability to "manage up."

I have been working at Adobe

    Pros

The people are very talented and have great ideas. The benefits are fantastic (from flexible time off, to company break time during holidays, etc). The overall energy and atmosphere of the company is very positive. They invest a lot in career development.

    Cons

There are many different business units that are segregated, and most employees have no input into what another part of their team is working on. However, this is a typical case with companies that actively acquire others.
