“Great seasonal opporunity”
Former Employee – worked at Amazon.com part-time for less than a year
Pros – (Reviewed as SMX Temp, from Nov-Jan)
Good starting pay, lots of hours during peak.
Lots of focus on safety and quality.
Cons – 11 hour days during peak, could have had more breaks.
30 minute lunch is quite rushed.
Odd shifts, mine was Sun-Thurs.
Horrible, repetitive music.
Advice to Senior Management – Please no music, or if music, require it to be changed every hour or so. Hip hop all day long was quite annoying. 11 hour shifts should have longer breaks or at least a longer 45 min lunch.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
