I worked at Amazon.com as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Great company with lots of smart people to work with. Good benefits, even for interns. Will subsidize living and moving expenses.

    Cons

Forever to setup machines and setup your workspace. Sometimes you can get stuck with a really bad project, so you might or might not get lucky.

Former Employee - Software Development Engineer I in Bangalore (India)

I worked at Amazon.com full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    1. Great leadership.
    2. Awesome principles and strategy
    3. Technical stack is the best in the market and top notch engineers
    4. Love for technology and costumer obsession.

    Cons

    1. Frugal strategy. Very low perks to employees compared to all the other top technical companies
    2. The technical stack is already been designed and very stable. This reduces the learning opportunities available in other small technical firms.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to create more learning opportunity and a little low stress on deliverables
