Poor management and direction

Senior Specialist (Former Employee)
Glenview, IL (US)

I worked at Aon full-time for more than 5 years

ProsGood if you have a manager who is supportive of your work.

ConsManagement does not have any long term goals. They only know how to deal with the problem of the day/week. Senior management has been leaving regularly. Outsourcing will inevitably take over the work in the Glenview.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop the outsoucing of servicing and staff it up locally.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Former Associate Broker

Associate Broker (Former Employee)
Philadelphia, PA (US)

I worked at Aon full-time for more than a year

Pros: Big organization, so opportunities are plentiful. Some of the divisions… Cons: Culture in the respective office was not great. A lot of the employees have BIG egos (everyone believes they're a type-A personality) and culture… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More

Overal good company to work for.

Client Specialist (Current Employee)
Chicago, IL (US)

I have been working at Aon full-time for more than 8 years

Pros: Great flexible schedule and working from home if you lucky to… Cons: Money is always an issue. Very average pay and every review is an disappointment no matter how hard you… Advice to Senior Management: In todays market managers care more about their own jobs… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
