Best company I've worked for......so far!

Senior Account Executive (Current Employee)
San Francisco, CA (US)

I have been working at Aon full-time for more than 8 years

ProsGenerally good people in Management positions.
Good investor in talent and development.
Good benefits package.
Good 401k match.
Decent pay - not amazing...but reasonable and fair for the position.
Very flexible working hours and work from home.

ConsOld and outdated office environments.
Cheap IT and Office Services.
Usual big company hierachy/procedural issues.

Advice to Senior ManagementInvest more in IT.
Get a 'higher tier' Office Services provider....no more cheap, nasty coffee!
Provide a better working environment...more in line with the modern tech like companies....more communal work areas with sofa's to work, collaborate etc...free catering in office hours.....

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Left hand doesn't… Advice to Senior Management: I don't even know where to start. No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More

Not a Place I'd Work Again

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at Aon

Pros: It's a great résumé builder in the industry. There are a number of good… Cons: It's not a great place to build a career. It's very difficult to move up or around. … Advice to Senior Management: Create a training program for young employees. No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
