I have been working at Applied Materials full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

lots of online training available(most for a fee). OK benefits if you can afford to purchase. Management has an open door policy that allows for greater lip service or derisiveness. Whichever they feel is necessary at the time to control you and make you fear them.

    Cons

Applied Materials no longer has a compact with their employees and their only focus is on shareholder value and continued efforts to reduce costs no matter what. Mostly at the expense of employee quality of life.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

practice what you preach. ETHICS, EVERYONE, EVERYDAY. Read the definition of the word ethics and attempt to actually understand what it means.
