I have been working at BT full-time (more than an year)

Pros

The company is struggling in the US market. Their focus is network and manged services. Generous vacation policy, In line with Europe in terms of vacation allowance. fixed line services in the UK performance consistency give BT a lot of financial flexibility to enter and grow market precense. Big focus in APAC region.

Cons

significant cost cutting. poor emphasis on customer services. low employee moral. US and Canada is stuggling. losing lots of talent.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

listen to employees. Decisions are coming from over seas wth no regard to customer impact.

    Pros

    BT trained their staff very well in a variety of different skills from project mgt to process improvement.

    Cons

    The biggest con of working in BT is the bureaucracy, it can take weeks to get something approved and requires a number of forms

    I have been working at BT full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Flexible working environment to suit individual.
    Projects are always very varied and plenty of opportunity to move around within the Group further supporting career development.

    Cons

    Procurement is a streamlined team and it's challenging managing the ever increasing workload and multiple projects which require skills in ability to juggle effectively.

    Speed of recruitment and replacing people needs to improve
