I worked at Bank of America full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

None - ever since the downsize has occurred its all about them, never about the banking centers

    Cons

no work/life balance. Goals are out of touch with reality, cannot get promoted even when your at 125% of your goals, no training/coaching

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring back a solid traianing program. Bring back trainers who used to do the jobs in the banking centers, Shoulder to shoulder training with someone other then the manager

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Work Pressure is not much
Policies are good - Food coupons/travel/insurance etc on top of CTC
    Pay/appraisal is good
    People are friendly
    Many trainings/team events/townhalls/meetings/connects

    Cons

The work or quality of work is poor. Not much offshore involvement in key decisions, projects. Not kidding, u may actually lose your skillset over time.
Management is aloof, most of the managers have sometimes no clue about the work team is doing.
Growth is nil. You can be literally at the same spot for a long time. I have seen folks doing the same tasks for 7 yrs
    No onsite opportunities.
Your work does not matter, visibility does.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Please think for employee's development.
