I worked at BlackBerry full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

You will have a lot of opportunity to work on your own projects and this gives you a lot of opportunities for development. The benefits package is very good, and they will give you everything that you need. Compensation is not bad as well.

    Cons

The management structure and internal politics are detrimental for employment sustainability. You are not given opportunities for development outside of your field. Management is kind of childish. Also, be prepared to get accustomed to Waterloo if you decide to work on the main campus. It's a town with a small town mentality. You won't have much night life.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's time to relearn the basics.
