    Pros

Company offers fantastic health-care benefits, and as of 2013, still covers the entire cost for most of its employees. All U.S. workers get four weeks of vacation -- great if you're starting out, but there's no real chance to increase that figure. Those who last 10 years are given an extra 3 days, which is the max for the U.S.

    Cons

The insurance benefit is still as good as or better than similar companies, but it dwindles every year. In 2013, Bloomberg began charging a premium to workers unless they completed a health assessment.

The bonus plan looks attractive, but usually doesn't live up to its billing. Yearly incentive pay is split evenly between targets for company performance and individual performance, and the company hasn't hit its goals a single time since the financial crisis. Makes people wonder if top management is being unrealistic about its targets or just clever.

    Pros

Free breakfast, lunch and dinner are a huge plus and save you the extra expense. Relaxing, social environment, where the floor plan is open so you don't feel closed off and alone the whole day.

    Cons

experience as a temp does not transfer outside, really hard to relate anything they have you do to requirements for getting a position outside. Seems like bloomberg is a dead end career, works off horizontal movement rather than vertical movement within the company. People just go department to department.
