    Pros

Best paying company in the retail industry for uneducated people who want have a decent family income. But both spouses will need to work to keep up with inflation Costco does not increase wages according to inflation.

    Cons

Very poor retirement savings plan for there employees!!! When they retire they better hope they have a back up plan. Such as rrsp's of at least 20 percent of their yearly income.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Help you employees better plan their retirement. The current plan the company offers is a joke and should be reevaluated to ensure that people will have better options when retiring.

    Pros

When I was here, this was one of the only retailers that seemed interested in paying their employees decently and treating them with respect. They had full benefits, including paid vacations and health insurance. The only thing you did not get was a store discount, as they gave you a free membership instead.

    Cons

Like all retail, the work can be long and hard at odd times with no guarantee of a certain number of hours from week to week.
