Former Employee – worked at Cyberonics full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – CYBX has great benefits through their provider. 4 weeks of vacation was definitely a plus along with a good hearted CEO.
Cons – *Work environment was very hostile in CTS (always competition to be #1).
*Work ethics were low due to new hires and competition to move to a better department and higher pay.
*Poor senior management and always looking to blame individuals for poor metrics.
*Very high turn over rate due to low advancement opportunities. (Seen plenty in my years within the company)
*Work was about 10 hour days with no paid OT
*CTS department always understaffed
Advice to Senior Management – *Advice to hire management based on education rather than seniority in the company. Changes and new ideas are always a good thing.
*Additional training to management in regards to "managing individuals"
