Interned there this summer, can't tell if people are laid back or over-worked

I worked at EY as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

Very friendly people overall. It didn't feel like people were just going to step all over you to get what they wanted.

    Cons

I sometimes got the impression that people just weren't sure what they were doing sometimes, though that may have just been me.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work a little harder to make sure everyone is getting the full "EY" experience.

Former Employee - Para Professional in Philadelphia, PA (US)

I worked at EY full-time for more than a year

    Pros

A very well run company, with professional co-workers who loved their work. There are many opportunities for advancement for those willing to apply themselves.

    Cons

There were many required meetings to attend, which sometimes interfered with work getting completed in a timely manner. There were a few layoffs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to be certain that meetings are necessary. Computer training needs to lead to certification and be tested without regards to rank within the company.
