If innovation is what you crave, stay away from EA

Senior Game Designer (Former Employee) Orlando, FL (US)

ProsGreat perks around campuses
Loads of talented people
Great discounts
Decent compensation
You can seemingly skate by and be lazy for years if you're into that sort of thing

ConsBloated management structures
Lack of drive towards innovation or new IP
Absolutely not a meritocracy
Senior staff seems to still be in place (and getting promoted) after doing nothing but drive the stock price into the dirt

Advice to Senior ManagementHow is JR still the CEO?!? And Peter Moore COO?! Since those two joined EA the stock has been in a nose dive. Obviously not everything is their fault, but this company needs new blood and fresh ideas.

However,… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
