A big company with that big company feel

Software Architect (Current Employee)
New York, NY (US)

I have been working at Experian full-time for more than 5 years

ProsPlenty of growth and a willingess to invest in that growth. Opportunities to move around between internal business units, including transfers overseas. Decent investment in training

ConsIt's a big company more focused on acquisitions than organic growth. That can make life unpleasant if you find yourself in a slowing vertical

Advice to Senior ManagementYou have to build instead of buy sometimes. More invest in organic growth would round out the portfolio

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Dreadful place for finance staff

Senior Finance Manager (Current Employee)
Costa Mesa, CA (US)

I have been working at Experian full-time for more than 5 years

Pros: Salary/bonus structure are competitive. Most people are nice, friendly and pleasant to work with. Campus is clean,… Cons: Company is very political. Kissing up to VP's is the key to get ahead. Company's growth is driven by acquisitions, off-shoring (Chile/Costa Rica), importing IT consultants… Advice to Senior Management: Management should focus on long term planning instead of constantly focusing on the next… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More

Pros: Work at home flexibility, training/development, pay Cons: Company culture, lack of commitment to employee wellbeing Advice to Senior Management: Focus on the talent pool you have--current practices are driving… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
