“3rd Tier player in a shrinking industry”
Former Employee – worked at Fitch Solutions full-time for more than a year
Pros – - Knew their strengths and played to them
- European working style - easy hours and good vacation
Cons – - Their two strengths, structured finance and bank ratings, helped cause the 2008 financial crisis and their revenue base was probably hard hit by it.
- Not as serious about the non rating products and services yet had a global team around it
- Low pay compared to the other Ratings agencies
- Limited career opportunities for advancement and development
Advice to Senior Management – - Get a game plan together and define career paths for employees
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
