Current Employee - Systems Administrator in Budapest (Hungary)

I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

They really stick to the laws, which is a good thing at the moment in Hungary. Local management is really doing their best to keep us with HP.

    Cons

The salary is way behind the industry standard. There is no way to negotiate your pay. Benefits suck. You only get to work with cheap second or third rate equipment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to act on keeping the best employees unless you want every one of them to go work for the competitors. Cost reduction can be done by other ways as closing done sites and firing all employees.
