    Pros

Ability to travel and be a part of a Fortune 100 company with a great reputation.
Offers great connections to better employment opportunities.
Opportunities for hours and hours of Buzzword Bingo.
    Tuition reimbursement
When I left voluntarily after 1 year, I found multiple job opportunities without much trouble, in part due to the solid reputation of HON.

    Cons

Lack of accountability results in excessive finger-pointing.
Leadership takes a strong political stance and pushes it onto employees.
Recently acquired companies are crippled by little resources and support to help them navigate through the HON conglomerate.
Business divisions make little attempt to work together and do little to educate employees on the different SBUs.
HON desires innovation but managers are too fearful of potential negative numbers to make any changes.
Job description and job expectations are a bait and switch for many employees.
High deductible health coverage puts most of the burden on employee.
Everyone is in it for themselves, and there is no sense of team or greater good.

    Advice to Management

Stop using corporate buzzwords and speak with meaning. Use your RAILs and RACIs to hold people accountable. Don't give someone "ownership" of something unless you are willing to give up the control and trust them to do their best work. Being afraid to take chances on people or their ideas because you fear your numbers and KPIs is a barrier to innovation. Make sure the job description that HON provides matches the role at your business. Failure to do so will result in the employee feeling betrayed. Staff value a leader who stands up for their team, but too many HON leaders sit up top, keep seats warm in hours of meetings, repeatedly chant the dictionary of HON buzzwords, ping around emails and divy out tasks without ever considering what their role can be bringing out the best in their team and turning their unit into a center of greatness.

    Pros

Many business and opportunities to switch you career

    Cons

Leadership lack of vision, tend to be short sighted, only focus on short term business goals, and too quick turn over within a couple of years

    Advice to Management

Respect your employee, and no retaliation
