IHS can be a great company to work for, if you are in the right position.

ProsSome very smart people working on some truly amazing things.

ConsThe organization of the company is a bit schizophrenic. They do relatively frequent layoffs to "trim the fat". Not always ready to embrace new technology, which leaves them behind the curve.

    Too aggressive in acquiring companies

    I worked at IHS full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros: Shares allocation for good performance Cons: Too aggressive in acquiring companies and didn't spend enough time & effort to integrate… Advice to Senior Management: HR sucks! They do not honor confidentiality & privacy. Confidential news got spread out by HR and private emails… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
