I worked at IHS full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Some very smart people working on some truly amazing things.

Cons

The organization of the company is a bit schizophrenic. They do relatively frequent layoffs to "trim the fat". Not always ready to embrace new technology, which leaves them behind the curve.

I have been working at IHS full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Most colleagues are good people to work with, benefits are decent, holidays and vacation time is generous.

    Cons

Managment fails to recognize anyone who is not blowing their own horn. Pay is low for the industry, and managment is slow to change it. Corporate does not know what is happening in other offices, moral is generally very low.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take some time to speak to colleagues in other offices and ask what is working and what is not. You will be surprised at what you do not know.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Disapproves of CEO
