    Pros

A very dynamic company with well defined task-oriented culture. Therefore, employees are managed based on results instead of methods. Strong emphasis in integrity and safety. Benefits are great as compensation other than basic salary could make up as much as 35% of the total compensation.

    Cons

Job scope could be limited as Intel requires employee to be the content expert in certain areas. Employees, therefore, have the depth but sometimes lacking the breadth. As a result, skills obtained might not be useful outside of Intel. However, Intel encourages employees to seek jobs within the company and thus, improving the breadth and exposure.

    Advice to Management

Look far ahead instead of quarterly indicators. Continue to promote the culture of challenging status quo and always reward calculated risk taking regardless of outcome (even though it contradicts result orientation). Otherwise, everyone will start to shy away from making the company better.

  2. thank you
