Current Employee – been working at JEA full-time for more than 7 years

Pros – Very family oriented atmosphere with an excellent pension plan. Easy to balance out life and work due to the flexible hours. A lot of good people who look to work there their entire career. Not too stressful as long as you do your job. Excellent place to work for.

Cons – May take a while for a raises and promotions. People hired from the outside may be brought in at a higher pay than someone whose been there a lot longer with a lot more experience.

Advice to Senior Management – For some managers - Do not micromanage your employees. Treat them as professionals giving them the benefit of the doubt to be able to produce at their position.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
