Former Employee - Senior Project Manager in Minneapolis, MN (US)

I worked at Jones Lang LaSalle full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

This large commercial R.Efirm has diverse clients and provides good exposure to a variety of phases from development, to transactions to project management and facility management.

    Cons

They run their teams 'lean' so you wear multiple hats and often need to figure things out indpendently. High-pressure to produce results with minimal support. Mobility to other accounts is political and based on 'who' you know not 'what' you know.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not 'over-promise' to clients based on a lean team, just to keep consulting margins high.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Jones Lang LaSalle full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

A very collegial, collaborative atmosphere with brokers, consultants and professionals that are exceptionally talented and competent.

    Cons

A massive organization with more than 45,000 employees. As with most public companies, the focus is on quarterly financial performance that is difficult at best to project.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on service delivery rather than on revenue. The revenue will come with continued high-quality service delivery.
