I have been working at KPMG US full-time for more than a year

Pros

If you have the right PML, you have a good chance of being promoted and getting decent salary increases. Again, if you have a good PML you will learn a lot and be exposed to the right members of leadership.

Cons

Promotion bonus was $950. What's to strive for when a promo bonus is that small? The "high performance culture" is a joke.... You have people working their butts off to be a high performer and then there's people who do just enough to get by and are rated the same and/or promoted.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your employees better, be more transparent about the review process. Focus on ALL your employees not just CSD.

I worked at KPMG US full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Young crew, make lots of friends in short time with work related activities. Until after new year because then...

    Cons

You work, work, work. However no overtime pay. Even though there is an agreement with the union that you have the option to choose overtime payment which is 100%, equals= (monthly salary/160x2=320 swedish kronor/hour overtime) instead of a the "bonus" which no one except a few know about.

Pro tip: Choose the overtime pay next time you have your yearly review, demand it you have the right! It will work out as following. You will lose one week of vacation and your "bonus" which you have to stay until november to get. Instead you will get overtime pay from the first hour you work overtime no matter what you do! Be it "internal" project which generates NO pay but "internal" recognition which you know is "useless" except for the few who manage to stay until partnership. You do the math how much of a difference it would do for you

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You know what you SHOULD do, but you want to keep your low taxed partner sharing pool.
