Pros – You learn about pools and how to care for them. You learn customer service and how to work one-on-one with people.

Cons – The hours are not great as you work most weekends and some holidays. Sometimes customers can be hard to deal with. There is no real effort to review employee performance and advance in the organization.

Advice to Senior Management – Provide benefits like health insurance, profit sharing, 401K to all employees, even the lowly associates. Put forth effort to make all employees feel relevent and want to work for Leslie's.
