    I have been working at Lowe's full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Benefits offered are very good. Employee are eligible for bonuses every quarter and managment get a yearly bonuse if numbers are met.

    Cons

    Low pay and annual increases are very disappointing. Lowe's does not pay for experience upon your initial job offer and managers tend to low ball higher qualified applicants.

    Pros

    Employees are empowered to make decisions and satisfy customers.
    Managers are very willing to work with your schedule.
    Opportunities for internal promotion.
    Great team environment.

    Cons

    Retail hours with retail pay.
    Many younger employees decide that retail is not right for them, so it can occasionally be difficult to keep enough people on the floor during summer hours.

    Give individual stores more freedom for displays and events.
