Pros

Got along great with my co workers, first dibs on markdowns..great sales.

Cons

they would totally butcher your hours on a moments notice. You could become homeless if its your only job..

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get a skilled recovery team in the stores and pay them a little more money.

Current Employee - Sales Associate in Clearwater, FL (US)

    Pros

    - Flexible work schedule.
    - Helpful staff.
    - Above average training.
    - Employee discounts with additional discount opportunities.

    Cons

    - Minimum wage. (however commission can easily surpass this)
    - No electronics sold in store other than a vending machine that sales a few items. Lol.. yes i said vending machine. Not sure who would buy an iPad from one but yeah.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Setting up a proper shift for register training on the floor. Thankfully i'm an electronics guru and have even built registers myself for companies so i know more than most people but what you learn in the training is all you get and you're thrown on floor. That leaves a high probability of error that can easily be resolved without financial loses.
