I worked at Medpace

Pros

Quick career progression and support from managers. I was promoted very quickly when working at Medpace and was always given the opportunity to progress.

Cons

Unmanageable workload. As the company got busier and busier, everyone's workload increased exponentially and there was really no work/life balance and that is what prompted me to look elsewhere.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please work on ensuring that the employees are not overloaded with work, especially the Clinical Research Associates, who have to travel frequently.

    Mostly good workers, seem to get the really bad ones out fast.

    Cons

    Management doesn't seem to feel a need to communicate with lower staff.

    Be more open, attend social events.

    Fun work environment that enables productivity, creativity, and individual and team success. Competitive salary and benefits. Fitness center is free to use.

    Cons

    Empty Promises and Management Who Do Not Know How to Run a Business

    Managers are doctors who micromanage and have control issues but do not know how to make smart business decisions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire people who know how to manage. You are great at being research professionals and knowledgeable doctors in drug development. However you do not know how to manage or keep employees happy.
