I worked at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America

    Pros

Benefits, e.g. vacation time and pay at least in my case, also 401K is best in industry.

    Cons

Lack of any future vision whatsoever in managements eyes.
Poor management direction, leadership - you name it, its poor
No room for advancement at all
No real cutting edge engineering work is done here despite what the other review says, that person must have worked at a different location.
Its terrible all around, I could write a book here.
Communication is terrible within the same building not to mention the Germany and American interaction
Germany has not faith in the management running things on this side of the pond.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

From the General manager down, go back to Germany and send over some competent people, people that can change things, people with a backbone.
