    Great 'roll up your sleeves and get it done' mentality.
    I feel appreciated for the work I do.
    My opinion is not only asked for, it is expected.
    Management is flexible with the time I need with my family events

    Cons

    Do to the lean teams, it can get overwhelming at times.
    There is a 6 year vesting period for the 401K matching component.

    Product discounts with participating vendors
    Autonomy when working large projects

    Cons

    Territorial postioning and rampant use of startegic non compliance tends to drive highly effective individuals from the ranks. Outside of corporate offices, many good managers still operate in smallpockets but corporate politics eventually impacts all areas of the business.

    Advice to Management

    Fear is not a long term motivator, they should relax the micro-management approach from the top and staff the departments to better serve the neds of the organization. Currently most overhead departments are runing with skeleton crews thanks to the long market down turn, now that business is picking up it is time to brreakdown all the kingdom( ie maketing) and give technology a chance
