- Good benefits. This company takes good care of their employee.
- Opportunity to work with smart people and various products

Cons

Big company, lots of policies, sometimes the process is really slow. You have to deal with lots people and different teams to get things moving.

    Great company to make an impact, contribution potential is exceptional. Excellent work-life balance.

    Cons

    We often work, including during off-time. Totem rating is often unfair, as it rewards those with tenure and typically punishes those who are new or not vocal.

    I worked at Microsoft as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

    - Very interesting projects
    - You largely get to choose what you are working on
    - Super-smart people, both full-time researchers and fellow interns
    - Very nice work-life balance; MSR throws cool intern events

    Cons

    Redmond/Seattle area in general aren't as exciting as some other areas like the Bay Area, but nature-wise it's nonetheless stunning
