I worked at Microsoft as an intern (less than an year)

Pros

The internship program at Microsoft is excellent. They seem to treat interns as full time employees in terms of work. They also have lots of pretty fun events over the course of the summer and you get a chance to meet a lot of other interns and network within the company. They also pay really well.

Cons

The project I was given could have been more interesting, but that seems to vary a lot between interns.

I worked at Microsoft full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

You will be working in a high speed and world-class business environment, so you will be able to have a chance to grow yourself that helps building your career.

    Cons

it is a huge company so sometimes making decision seems too late because they tend to wait until everything is ready.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It will be nice if management thinks more about end-to-end customer experience (from before-purchase, using product, to customer-support). Because of the size of the company, each division is focusing on their business area only, and divisions sometimes dis-connected.
