I worked at Microsoft full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

good chances to work on many product lines. good medical benefit. opportunity to learn many techs. good for starter

    Cons

performance review is a virus for this company, 10% constantly been kicked out every year.
too limited views for people want to grow.
many devs need to work over 50 hours to survive, or you drop to the 10% category. believe it or not.
