I worked at Peace Corps full-time for more than a year

ProsWorking for the Peace Corps gives you the opportunity to gain valuable experience working internationally as well as proficiency in another language. The flexibility in working hours and ability to determine the focus of my work were major benefits. The job also gives you a sense of contributing to society.

ConsAfter gaining perspective from two years of working and living in another country, the value of individual projects may seem diminished in the context of the developmental progress of the country as a whole. There was frustration over the instability of job and projects
