I worked at Pitney Bowes full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Great opportunity to learn office services from the mailroom out. Good for someone with customer service experience and attitude, but not much training.

Cons

Unclear expeectations, when a site goes, the process from a worker's end can be a bit erratic, off-putting and demoralizing. Insurance is a high cost.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clarify processes and expectation, Revisit the cancellation of employee perks that were cancelled. Seek better insurance structure.

    Pros

    Fast paced, Diverse Environment, Some workers are very helpful

    Cons

    People usually stay within "their boundaries" due to racial insecurities, Leads sometimes expect you to know what you need to do, Hard to get a full time postion

    Look at the temps who work hard day in and day out!

    I have been working at Pitney Bowes full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    The benefits are pretty good even though they have started to whittle away at some things.

    Cons

    Old technology - I have a computer that came out in 2008 and there are no plans to upgrade. They still use XP network wide. It took them until 2012 to allow a version of internet explorer with tabs! Who uses IE6 these days? They tend to have meetings about meetings so nothing really gets done. When the economy went they got rid of service people and veterans who knew the products inside and out so they could make the bottom line better. The fact is they don't know what to do in an instant, social world and NONE of their internal processes are forward thinking.

    If you are not agile in today's world you are fragile.
