Current Employee – been working at Porter Novelli
Pros – - Strong leadership in both corporate offices in NY and local offices
- Focused on employee growth
- Supportive of innovation - employees are allowed to attempt new things and fail without fearing for their jobs
- Communication from management and among peers is frequent, open and honest
Cons – - Current financial performance of the company is limiting some opportunity for advancement
- Accountability on the senior management level seems lacking or slow to occur (this seems to be getting better, though)
- Resources to support innovation are lacking at times forcing a DIY approach
Advice to Senior Management – Provide the resources and structure to allow your employees to succeed and then hold them accountable to the targets that they agree to meet.
