I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The company truly cares about its employees. Great work/life balance. Challenging experiences. Supportive and encouraging environment. Upper level management is approachable.

    Cons

Like any big corporation, there are politics. I think P&G still has some work to do to continue to attract college age kids. The "hire from within" structure makes it imperative that the company can appeal to the 20-22 age group and although it has made significant progress, there's still definitely more room for improvement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Benchmark off of tech giants like Google and Apple, but also look at small, up and coming companies like Uber, they all appeal to young college grads. Also, continue to promote people into management who are unique, individuals that will bring fresh ideas and perspectives into leadership circles. There seems to be too much promotion that's focussed on those who conform to fit a certain bill.
