Former Employee - Sales Manager in Slough, Berkshire, South East England, England

I worked at RB full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The brands give good exposure and great experiences
    Fast progression( because people leave)
Lots of potential to expand in role due to lean organisation.

    Cons

New UK management team flown in from the USA need to understand that in such a lean organisation you need to look after your staff. They certainly don't and high level back stabbing and bullying doesn't make for a productive environment.
Working hours are long. Sales managers are lucky to get home before 10pm. Due to the 40% plus staff turnover this year so far. Limited knowledge left in the business

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look after your staff and pay market rates!

    It's what you make it

I have been working at RB

    Pros

It's a great place if you're fully dedicated and are willing to put as much (sometimes more) in than you get out.

    Cons

As much as it lauds itself as a flat structure with rapid advancement, it's as political as anywhere else.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Embrace accountability- the only way you can run as lean as you do is if you cut out those who do nothing.
