I have been working at RGP

Pros

RGP provide fantastic opportunities to work with the top global businesses and raise my profile as a professional.

Cons

There are very few downsides with RGP, although if you are unwilling or unable to travel, your opportunitities may be limited.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make the bonus scheme more transparent. The critical success factors are unclear, so it is difficult to understand how the cake is shared amongst the staff and what is required to maximise results.

I have been working at RGP full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Love the local management of the company. Very positive and supportive. Great benefits and there is a lot of effort to keep consultants informed and engaged. Most consulting firms don't do a great job. Company has a great reputation and they are always thinking of other in demand areas to expand services.

    Cons

Difficult if you are a specialist that doesn't fit their average consultant profile to continue to work. Being on the bench is always a risk so if you need a consistent job and aren't their typical consultant it can be very stressful.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change business practice to put specialist consultants on the availability list sooner than 30 days out of end of their engagement.
