Pros

You get at least 40 hours a week.

Cons

Seniority doesn't count when being looked at for other positions within the site. At this particular site some one from outside the site could be hired in a higher position that you put in for.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

To work closer with the team members they have and listen to what they have to say the representatives on the phones are the ones who knows what is going to be better for them.

    I have been working at SYKES full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    I have worked with Sykes for over 10 years and find it to be a fair and friendly company who provide career advancement, good benefits, a stable enviroment and good management.

    Cons

    As long as you do a good job and show up on time they will maybe work with your schedules. You need to have good attendance and know your job.

    Communication and coaching are important.

    I have been working at SYKES part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    *WAH
    *Paycheck
    *Two Days off
    Awesome training experience

    Cons

    *Disrespectful Customers
    *Low Pay
    *Crappy Systems
    *Lack of Support

    Everyday before I clocked in I was in tears.I hated this job the whole three weeks that I was there.
    If you have thin skin or cant tolerate being talked to any kind of way by customers then dont apply for this position.The client of Sykes has some of the most disrespectful clients ever!

    Put yourself in the shoes of your employees.
